Reflection
Someone has said that even God can't operate in the
future. We honestly don' know if is true or not, but it
is certain that projecting into the future removes us
from the reality of the present. Living as fully as we can
in the day every day is the key to happiness. If we are
projecting our lives into some future time when we
have all our ducks lined up in a row, we deprive our–
selves of whatever joys come to us in the moment and
make our happiness contingent on so many things we
cannot control.
Affirmation
I know that learning to live in the now is the key to
emotional maturity. Projecting into the future is an
exercise in futility.
