yelling that he had an overwhelming desire
to steal something. The doctor said,
"Take two ashtrays and call me in the morning."
Reflection
Some recovering alcoholics will call their sponsor (the
person who is the fellow sufferer) to get the bid of
counsel when the temptation arises, and, of course, the
response will be "Give me one reason as to why you
should drink!"
Affirmation
I can think of a thousand reasons to drink, but there is
only one why I shouldn't. Let me heed the one.
