Reflection for February 21

I have learned silence from the talkative,
toleration from the intolerant,
and kindness from the unkind.

—Kahlil Gibran

Reflection

In other words, I have to keep learning, no matter
what the source. I need only remember my own babble
when in my cups, and my fierce, judgmental attitude
when others behave as I do and, of course, the damage
I have wrought in the past.

Affirmation

It's a good day to remember my character defects and
to begin a remedial life.
