Reflection
Most people of average intelligence are aware that los-
ing one's senses to drink or drugs can and does have
painful consequences, so they stop. The alcoholic
knows full well the losses to be endured, and yet will
or cannot stop.
We have amnesia brought on by a
siren's song . . .
