Reflection
We all know the expression "Garbage in, garbage
out." Perhaps the most lethal of all of man's afflictions
is negativity, and it begins inside each of us. There is a
dark side to us where the real battle of life and death
takes place. That is the reality of existence. Know your
enemy. Become familiar with him. Know how he oper-
ates. He is you.
Affirmation
Help me, dear God, to be ever aware of my own
propensity for negativity. Help me to understand my
own basic mistrust of life and the world. Help me to
believe in the great gift you have given me.
