Reflection
There is hardly a being alive who hasn't made a full
course banquet of some resentment—thundering
herds of thought shutting out all civilized discourse
and sentiment, with our consent, driving us to insan-
ity. We never forget to breathe the good air in the
midst of the reenactment of our hurt. Dragons do it
better: they blow it all out!
Affirmation
Remind me to breathe deeply today, and to douse all
inner fires of my smouldering anger.
